AND INCLUSIVE SOCIETIES', HAVING MORE THAN HUNDRED DELEGATES FROM OVER THIRTY
COUNTRIES, WAS ORGANIZED BY CSRP WITH HELP OF SPONSORS

December, 2018- The
initiative of 1st International Youth Summit Lahore, 2018 was taken by
Centre For Sustainability, Research and Practice CSRP with University of
Lahore as host institution and was sponsored by CSSPR , SocioOn, Allied Bank
covered by several media groups.
Delegates participated from over 35
countries and from every nook of Pakistan, who were shortlisted after reviewing
more than 4000 submitted applications. The theme of the summit was Peace, Culture
and Inclusive Societies and its objectives were to highlight a dynamic
and principled process of promoting the value, relations and institutions that
enable youth to participate in social, economic, cultural and political life and
was divided into academic sessions, social and networking activities, cultural
night and musical performance and excursion trips to old Lahore and Wahgah
Border.
It was a seven day summit which was bombarded with the participation of many high profile delegates, panelists, speakers and guests from Pakistan and abroad. Naseem Khan Achakzai, Shaan, Khalid Banuri, Michael Ahster Thomson, Burcea Angelica, delegates from Chinese embassy and many others graced the various events took place in the summit. Zainab Raza, a student of SOCA from 6th semester was part of head organizing team and has managed whole event along with her core team members.
